Education Module Development Task Force

The CACHE Education Module Development Task Force develops computer-based educational materials to promote innovation in chemical engineering education. Recent developments include downloadable modules in fuel-cell technology, bio-systems, energy, and molecular origins of macroscopic behavior. Our current area of focus is process design, and we are considering the development of short videos and homework problems for flipped classrooms as a possible future direction. The classes/topics that are under consideration are Process Control (Mike Henson), Molecular Modeling and Simulation (Phil Westmoreland), Data Analytics (Richard Braatz), Process Design (Danny Levin), and Polymath (Mike Cutlip).
