FOCAPO 2003 Proceedings: A View to the Future Integration of R&D, Manufacturing and the Global Supply Chain (CD)

FOCAPO 2003 (Foundations of Computer-Aided Process Operations), the fourth meeting of this series, convened a group of international experts from industry, academia, vendors, and consulting companies to discuss new directions and challenges in process operations. Participants discussed challenges and needs for process oriented industries, petroleum, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Special emphasis was placed in the areas of supply chain management, R&D in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, methodologies for process operations, and optimization models and techniques. The CD contains most of the invited and contributed papers that were presented at this meeting.
